Constitutional & By Law Changes

Having recently approved a revised Constitution and By Laws for our club the following is a summary of the necessary steps to make future revisions or amendments to these documents.

Step 1: At any regular or special meeting of the WCRC any Active or Honorary Member In Good Standing can propose a document change. If properly seconded and favorably voted on by a majority of the Active and Honorary Members present, this proposed change will be voted on at the next meeting provided that it is at least two weeks hence.

Step 2: The Club Secretary will then inform each Club Member by e-mail or letter that a proposed change will be voted on a the next meeting. This notification must be given at least two weeks prior to the next meeting.

Step 3: The President, under Old Business, will bring the proposal to the floor for discussion and vote. This meeting must have a minimum of 18 members (Active & Honorary) present. The revision or amendment will have passed with 2/3 vote of the eligible members (Active & Honorary) present.
