WCRC Meeting Minutes – August, 26, 2004 –

· Meeting held at the Field; started at 7:05 P. M.

· Roll Call; 25 Members present

· Minutes of the previous meeting read and accepted

· Treasurers report read and accepted; we may get another CD next year

· Mail included a flyer on a contest in Bridgewater. Electric fun fly on August 28, 2004

· There are 3 video tapes out and need to be returned; see Wayne Berens

· The new phone card has been purchased and delivered to the Park Rangers

· Superintendent Donelly will inspect and advise regarding the weed control at the Field

· We will have an exhibit at the open-air theatre in the Park on August 27, 2004; time is from 6:00 to 7:30 P. M.

· Two guests present; Barry Wilbur, Brian Wilbur

· NEW BUSINESS

· On Sept.10, 11, and 12, ACTION HOBBIES will have a 10% off everything sale

· On October 23, 2004, our Club will have a flying demo and Delta Dart building session for Cub Scout Pack 28 at our Field. Time is noon to 3:00 P. M.

· Tom Pfeffer donated a T-52, Futaba radio, a charger, and some hardware to the Club

· Nick, Ed Berchtold, and John Kukon talked about their ride in the Blue Cross/ Blue Shield Blimp

· Our annual Picnic will be on September 12, 2004; rain date Sept. 19. Start time is 12 noon

· Sussex air show is on September 27 and 28, 2004

· Meeting ended at 7:55 P. M.
