WCRC Meeting Minutes – October 28, 2004 –

· Meeting started at 7:05 P. M.

· Roll Call – 29 Members present

· Minutes of the previous meeting were read and accepted

· Treasurers report was presented and approved

· Two guests were present; Hunter Gould, Erik Dickersbach

· New canopies and a replacement wind sock were purchased

· Cub Scout pack 28 attended a demo flying session at our field on October 23^rd ; Delta Darts were built and flown

· Suggestions were brought forward regarding future building of these kits

· A vote was taken after a motion and discussion to lower Club Dues for 2005; 23 in favor, 3 opposed. The new Dues is $50.00 for active members, $25.00 for Juniors, and $20.00 for Social members

· All paid up members for 2005 will receive a new Club hat. A suggestion was made to purchase a larger size than previously for this order.

· The Club will purchase 2 new CD’s for covering adverse expenses

· The November Hamkey will be held at the Field on November 14, 2004; 12:00 to 3:00 P. M.

· The December Hamkey will be held at the Field on December 12, 2004; 12:00 P. M. to 3:00 P. M.

· NEW BUSINESS

· Chuck Taylor did a presentation of an indoor R/C model, STUBENFLIGETTE. He modified it to do outside loops without the wings folding. Total weight, 4 ½ ounces

· Don Borgese showed pictures of the Cub Scout event

· October 50/50 was won by Pete Swasee; $17.00

· New member, Kris Subramaniam, was unanimously voted into the Club
