WCRC Meeting Minutes - April 27, 2006 -

· Meeting called to order at 7:00 P. M.

· Roll Call; 26 members present

· Minutes of the March meeting were read

· Treasurers report was presented

· Club Mail; AMA Charter Club verification received along with insurance certificate. 2006 US Scale team raffle and fund raiser notice received

· Guests present: Brian Mollow, Don Smith, Bruce Wutke, Len Cacciatorie, Jerry Fat, Hugh Carber, Joe Taylor, and Gaylord Olson

· OLD BUSINESS:

· The tool boxes at the Field are now filled

· The starter battery in the shed is now being charged by the Auto batteries

· John Hitchner provided 2 pails of sand at the Field for extinguishing burning batteries

· Nick suggested we do a sound test at the park adjacent to the field at various distances from the flight line while gas models are flying

· Our annual work party will be on Saturday, April 29, 2006

· The new grass has sprouted at the Field

· NEW BUSINESS:

· Our Special Use permit needs renewal with the Park

· Our opening day is May 28, 2006; lots of food and flying

· A flying demo for the Jewish Community Center will held at the Field on May 24, 2006

· Our Library show will be on June 10, 2006

· A flying demo is scheduled for May 6, 2006 at Twin Pines Airport ~ see John Eckel

· 50/50 won by Martin Webster, $21.00

· Dean Pappas had a presentation on high power electrics

· Meeting ended at 8:45 P. M.
