WCRC Meeting Minutes - April 24, 2008 -

 

·       Meeting called to order at 7:00 P. M.

·       Roll call; 17 members present

·       Minutes of the March meeting were read and accepted

·       Treasurers report was presented

·       Twin Pine airport is now closed. Some clean up is required. John Eckel reported on progress.

·       Our Special Use Permit is to be re-submitted with a later start date added

·       John Kukon reported on documentation of our student instructor program

·       Dave Vale reported on our Thursday evening ZAGI combat program

·       The Mercer County Club will hold their Jumbo Jamboree fly-in on May 24 & 25th at their field.

·       Two guests were present; George Mohr, Richard Anthony

·       Our annual work party will be on Sunday, April 27th. Driveway gravel has been delivered; a window will be added to the impound Shed. Our storage area will be cleaned up.

·       NEW BUSINESS:

·       Members of the club attended a Rally in Trenton to support keeping the State Parks open

·       Our Opening day will be on May 18, 2008

·       Our Library show will be on June 7, 2008. Electric model flying will take place in the field behind the Library. The show will be from 10:00 A. M. to 1:00 P. M. A static model display will be placed in the library on the morning of May 31st.

·       Six new Loc8tor tags have purchased by the club. We now have the hand held unit memory full at 24 units.

·       The 50/50 was won by Travis Webber; $12.00
