WCRC Meeting Minutes - February 23, 2006 -

· Meeting called to order at 7:00 P. M.

· Roll Call; 20 Members present

· Minutes of the January meeting were read

· Treasurers report was presented

· Club mail included a copy of the MCRC newsletter. Four new applications for membership were received

· Guests present; Joe Taylor, Len Cacciatorie, Bob McPherson

· A meeting is scheduled with the Park naturalist, Wayne Henderek, on February 22, 2006. Nick, Bill Kellermann, and John Kukon will discuss the no-fly times issue with him.

· The Field Box inventory list was e-mailed to the membership. Two tool boxes have been donated; equipment will be localized in the boxes

· Our monthly presentations have been announced in the MCRC PROPWASH newsletter

· NEW BUSINESS

· Pete Swasay was in the hospital undergoing a triple heart bypass

· The Club will incorporate 2 additional events this year to make us an AMA gold member club

· Certificates were presented by Nick to members that flew on January 1^st for their initial flight of 2006

· The 50/50 was won by Joe Taylor - $16.00

· Mark Goresky gave a talk on the new Spread Spectrum R/C system.

· Meeting ended at 8:40 P. M.
