WCRC Meeting Minutes - February 28, 2008 -

 

·       Meeting called to order at 7:00 P. M.

·       Roll Call; 28 members present

·       Minutes of January Meeting were read and accepted

·       Treasurers report as of end January was presented

·       John Eckel proposed we add the new Park Flyer Program magazine to our MODEL AVIATION subscription for the Library; Ed Berchtold seconded. Approval was unanimous.

·       Nick outlined the new AMA Park Flyer program targeted for Park Flyers only

·       Nick reviewed the WRAM's show of this year. The show was somewhat reduced from last year. Nick explained the products and vendor's participation.

·       Our new elected AMA President is Dave Mathewson.

·       Nick received an independent  survey regarding his president's position with reference to AMA

·       Pete Vonjaglinsky was the first to use the Loc8tor system to find a crashed airplane at the field. He explained the process.

·       Our work party will be on April 19th . We will primarily do gravel work and weed prevention.

·       All Season Flyers patches were awarded to eligible Members.

·       First Flight of 2008 certificates were presented to members that participated in our event

·       Pete Maclellan presented a slide show of our 2007 Club activities.

·       The 50/50 was won by Nick Maggio ~ $16.00

·       Meeting adjourned at 8:15 P. M.
