WCRC Meeting Minutes - September 28, 2006 -

· Meeting called to order at 7:00 P. M.

· Roll Call; 19 members present

· Minutes of the previous meeting were read

· Treasurers report was presented

· One new application was received, John Pruszkowski

· Two guests were present; John Galbraith and John Pruszkowski

· Our annual Picnic on September 10 had 30 members present with about 25 guests

· The new free flight event at the picnic was a great success. All participants enjoyed the event.

· Thursday morning flying sessions will continue and will be held when the weather permits

· Wednesday evening training sessions will be moved to Saturday afternoons

· ZAGI nights are getting very quiet

· NEAT fair was reviewed by Tom Haake. No vendors present, good flying, lots of indoor micro stuff present.

· NEW BUSINESS:

· Smaller tarps were added to the canopy to allow increased ventilation during windy weather

· The "lake" in the middle of the field during heavy rain was filled with 6 yards of top soil to help level the depression. Grass seed was added

· Pete Swasay brought in old model magazines free for the taking

· October listing of "restricted flying times" were received from the Park

· Bill Kellermann declined the Vice president nomination

· Rick Debastos made motion to vote for Officer nominees as a group, John Hitchner seconded

· The new elected officers for 2007 are: President - Nick Maggio; Vice President - Pete VonJaglinsky; Secretary/Treasurer - John Kukon

· The 50/50 was won by Mark Stillitano; $15.00

· Meeting ended at 8:40 P. M.

· Tom Haake showed an engine cleaner - "Dawn Power Dissolver"

· The last meeting of the year will be on October 26, 2006
