WCRC Meeting minutes – March 31, 2005

WCRC Meeting minutes – March 31, 2005 –

· Meeting began at 7:00 P. M.

· Roll Call; 24 Members present

· Minutes of the January meeting were read

· The Treasurers report was presented

· Three guests were present; Peter VonJaglinsky, Peter B. VonJaglinsky, and Rick Spencer

· The Mercer Club is purchasing Club jackets – cost is $60.00 - $85.00. Our club may get in on the order.

· The Club Field work party has been set for Saturday, April 23, 2005, beginning at 10:00 A. M.

· Our library show will be on June 4^th

· The Opening day will be on June 12^that our Field

· Chuck Taylor will evaluate the driveway washout and make a recommendation for repairs

· Dave Vale will present methods of converting gas models for electric use at the next meeting

· Wayne Berens will present in May

· The East Coast hobby show will be on April 9^th and 10^th

· Tom Haake gave a report on the Lebanon Flea market; more tables, new wing added, and a good turnout

· Dave Schoen and tom Haake gave reports on the WRAM show

· Bob Scott had a foam F-18 electric pusher. Has flown it twice

· NEW BUSINESS:

· The Park has invited our Officers to an appreciation luncheon at McGuire AFB on April 16^th

· John Kukon demonstrated a bungee ZAGI launcher

· Tom Speelman suggested we add a student membership category for those under 25 and a full time student. A written copy is on file. A motion was made and seconded. A vote will be taken at the next meeting.

· Pete and Peter B. VonJaglinsky were voted into the Club by a unanimous vote

· Jon Radway gave a presentation on model photography

· The 50/50 was won by Peter B. VonJaglinsky; $16.00

· Meeting ended at 8:45 P. M.
